Academic Load Policy

For enrollment verification purposes, Illinois State University defines a studentís enrollment status based on the number of credit hours for which he or she is currently enrolled. Courses that are withdrawn from during the semester, do not count as enrolled hours. Credit hours needed to be considered full-time for enrollment verification purposes may differ from that of financial aid. It is the studentís responsibility to determine the number of credit hours needed to maintain his or her financial aid eligibility. For more information regarding financial aid eligibility, please contact the Financial Aid Office.
