You are encouraged to contact your advisor as soon as possible to schedule an appointment as appointment times may fill during the Advance Registration Period. It is possible that you may be encouraged to make an appointment for the next available registration period.
If you have earned fewer than 24 semester hours, are an Undeclared student, or are considered to be “Unclassified” (non-degree-seeking), you must meet with an advisor in the Academic Advisement Center, Fell Hall 340, (309) 438-7604.
If you have a declared major, contact your major department/school for advisement.
If you are a graduate student with a declared major, contact your graduate program coordinator. If you are a graduate student-at-large, contact the Graduate School at (309) 438-2583 for assistance.
All incoming freshman are required to attend Preview, a two-day summer orientation program. At that time, you will meet with your academic advisor and register for classes.
Transfer Day Programs are offered to all incoming transfer students throughout the semester and you are strongly encouraged to attend. During this one-day program, you will meet with your academic advisor and register for classes.
