ISU Exam Proctoring Services
Illinois State Testing Services proctors exams for individual students who missed a course exam due to unusual circumstances as approved by the instructor and as space is available. Testing Services uses RegisterBlast for all exam submissions and appointment scheduling.
Instructors
Illinois State University instructors can use RegisterBlast in Canvas to request our proctoring services for students enrolled in their courses. Learn more about RegisterBlast at the Help Center including how to enable RegisterBlast in Canvas and how to create an exam submission. Exam documents will be returned through RegisterBlast. Scans of exam documents as well as proctor notes regarding the exam can be found in the instructor’s RegisterBlast account. Please refer to the Help Center for information about viewing an exam’s status or retrieving exam documents.
Exam requests must be submitted at least three business days prior to the first date the exam is available to be taken.
Students
Exam appointments cannot be scheduled until the instructor’s exam submission has been approved by Testing Services. Appointments can be scheduled by opening the relevant course in Canvas and clicking on the RegisterBlast link.
