College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

The College Level Examination Program (CLEP) allows students to receive course credit for introductory college level courses. More than 2,900 colleges and universities, including Illinois State University, allow students to earn course credits for achieving a passing score on one of CLEP's 34 exams. Testing Services at Illinois State University is a CLEP certified testing center.

Ordering CLEP Test Ticket(s)

Test ticket(s) must be purchased on the CLEP website. When purchasing test ticket(s) on the CLEP website, be sure to select the appropriate institution(s) to receive exam results. 

CLEP Proctoring at Testing Services

Cost: In addition to the cost assessed by CLEP when purchasing your test ticket, Testing Services assesses a $25 proctoring fee for exams taken in our center. 

Prior to scheduling appointment(s) with Testing Services, ensure you have purchased the CLEP test ticket(s). Test ticket(s) must be brought to exam appointment(s) along with a valid state or government issued ID.

Illinois State University uses RegisterBlast for all appointment scheduling and fee collection. To schedule a CLEP exam appointment, log into RegisterBlast. Current Illinois State University students should log onto RegisterBlast using their ISU credentials.
