Office of the University Registrar Testing Services facilitates transitions to and within the University by providing university course placement exams, exams for course credit, and exams to meet graduation requirements, as well as professional and correspondence exams for the community.
During check-in, you'll be required to remove any hats, visors, headbands, etc. You'll also place your belongings, such as your phone, purse, and wallet, into small lockers.
No backpacks are allowed at the Testing Center.
Due to contractual obligations, we have a limited number of seats available in our testing space.
Exams should be scheduled in advance. Walk-ins are not preferred as seats may not be available in our testing space, and we may not have the appropriate materials needed for your exam.
Exams will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
To ensure compliance, cameras are in use in the testing space as well as the check-in area. We also have a one-way window between the check-in area and the testing space.
Testing is located on the ground floor in 103 Moulton Hall. The building is located on the northeast side of the quad.
You can schedule a proctored exam through Testing Services. Our services are available to Illinois State students and students at other institutions.
To get started, a faculty member needs to complete the Exam Request Form.
Students will not be able to schedule exams until our office has the completed form.
Faculty can request proctoring services and submit exam materials each semester, as needed. Due to lab space limitations, it is important requests are submitted in a timely fashion each semester to ensure space is available.
Students can also request a proctored exam.
The Consortium of College Testing Centers provides proctored exam locations outside of Illinois State University.
