Submit a Transcript

Submit a transcript to Illinois State University for admission or transfer credit evaluation. All external transcripts must be official. Unofficial transcripts, copies of transcripts, or transcripts emailed directly from a personal email account will not be accepted.

Electronic Copies

The school where transfer credit was earned should submit electronic transcripts to Illinois State directly.
Illinois State will not accept transcripts forwarded by the student.

Send electronic transcripts to:

ExternalTranscript@IllinoisState.edu (current students transferring credit to Illinois State)

Hard Copies

Send a hard copy of your transcript in the mail or drop it off in person.

Postal Service

Transcripts must be mailed from the transferring institution.

In Person

You may personally deliver your official transcript in a sealed envelope from the external institution. For admission consideration, deliver your transcript to 211 Hovey Hall. For evaluation of transfer credit, deliver your transcript to 107 Moulton Hall.
