Restrict Your Information

You can have your information blocked from public directory information with a nondisclosure request.

Public information includes:

  • name
  • University email
  • home address and phone number
  • local address and phone number
  • date and place of birth
  • major
  • classification
  • dates of attendance
  • full or part-time status
  • candidacy for degree
  • degrees awarded and dates received
  • recent previous education agency or institution attended

Submit a Nondisclosure Request

Send a signed request to University Registrar before the first day of classes.

A nondisclosure block will call for Illinois State University not to release any of this directory information; thus, any future requests for such information from non-institutional persons or organizations will be refused.

Although the initial request may be filed at any time, requests for nondisclosure will be honored by the University until removed, in writing, by the student.
