Class Drop and Withdraw
Whether you want to drop or withdraw from a class, there are important steps to take and timelines to consider. Dropping and withdrawing may impact your grade, refund, and financial aid.
Drop a Class
You can drop one or more classes during the designated add/drop period. Dropped classes do not appear on your transcript.
Withdraw from a Class
You can withdraw from one or more courses during the designated withdrawal period. A grade of WX will appear on your transcript if you withdraw from a class.
How to Drop or Withdraw
Online
The most common way to drop or withdraw from a course is online. To drop or withdraw from a course, access the Course Withdrawal Request Form and follow the steps listed on the form.
In Person
Stop by 107 Moulton Hall Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Bring a photo ID.
