Winter Session
Illinois State University offers online accelerated Winter Session classes to continuing students (enrolled in the preceding Fall term). To register for a Winter session course, continuing students must be in good academic standing and have an established ISU grade point average. Transfer students admitted for the preceding Fall term, who have a transfer GPA of 2.0 or higher, also qualify for Winter session enrollment. Students are limited to registering for one class per Winter session. There is no priority registration for Winter session. Credit hours taken during the Winter session will be applied to the spring semester's total academic load. To drop or withdraw from a Winter session course after the start of classes, please email Registrar@IllinoisState.edu with your request. Grades are posted at the conclusion of the Winter session.
